Merced Theatre
Brian Wishneff & Associates has been retained by the Merced Theatre Foundation, Inc. to assist in structuring and securing historic and new market tax credits for the renovation of the Merced Theatre.  The renovation project will include a renovated theater as well as 10 residential apartments and 6 retail spaces.  For more information on this project please visit the Merced Theatre

BW&A hires new Associate
Brian Wishneff & Associates is pleased to announce the addition of Adam Markwood to its staff.  Adam graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Public and Urban Affairs. Immediately following graduation, he acquired a position at the New River Valley Planning District Commission, where he authored several policy analyses and assisted in the coordination of regional sustainability initiatives. This introduction to environmental planning led him to the private sector at Wallace Roberts and Todd, LLC, a national planning and architecture firm in Philadelphia, PA. Here he was able to participate on a number of projects, including LEED registered buildings, sustainable urban design plans and large-scale green plans. His responsibilities included assistance on project design, administration, quality control, and management. Adam is a LEED accredited professional and is on the Roanoke City Fair Housing Board.
